Delivery and Shipping Policy

At FloorSave we strive to provide our shoppers with the best online shopping experience possible. We take great lengths to ensure that our customer receive not only the best pricing on their flooring purchases but also receive the lowest rates for shipping. As such we have aligned ourselves with the most reliable and economical freight carriers in the industry. 
 

Shipping Cost:

Shipping cost is computed based on the destination's zip code and quantity ordered. We offer a no-frills shipping policy for our customers. Beware of some other companies that may offer “free shipping” as that is usually marked up somewhere in the cost of the materials or some other hidden fee. We do not make any markups on our shipping. Instead we arrange with our carriers to get the best shipping rates around and then pass on those savings to you directly.

Description of Shipping Charges:

Our shipping charges include delivery to your location. However in some very rare cases if you reside in a remote location or an area that is not readily accessible for our Carriers, then delivery will made to their Carriers pick up station nearest to you. It will then be your responsibility to pick up from that location. The Shipping charge does not include lift gate service. We provide curbside delivery for all of our shipments. If you need a liftgate service, then you have to request that with the Carrier when they contact you. In addition, the delivery people do not take your order inside for you, it is your responsibility to do so. You may arrange with the carrier for this service for a fee. Billing for these additional services should be done with the Shipping Carrier when they contact you or you may contact one of our representatives for more information. Someone should be at home at the time of delivery to accept the freight. The shipping company will call you at least 24 hours before delivery to confirm with you. Our shipping carriers have about a 90% on time delivery record. In general transit times range from 3-5 business days.

Delivery and Acceptance:

Please inspect your shipment at the time of delivery or pick up. Make sure that boxes are in good order and not damaged. In the rare event that your shipment is partially damaged or you have missing items, you must make a Note of any damaged cartons or missing items on the drivers bill of lading. If you fail to do this on the drivers bill of lading, then we will be not be able to file a claim for you with the Carrier. Freight carriers do reserve the option to examine any damaged items. You must not dispose of any of the claimed damage items.
